Welcome to Hintonburg and Mechanicsville! This trendy and unique community boasts a plethora of home grown eateries, bakeries, and coffee shops. A hot spot for locals looking for anything from artisan donuts from Ottawa’s own “Suzy Q”, to woodfire pizza at one of my favorite restaurants “Tennessy Willems”. Every year more sleek condos, infill houses, and semi’s replace the smaller/older houses in Hintonburg and Mechanicsville, alongside beautiful century homes being remodelled and renovated to suit this neighbours unique curb appeal. As a result, the ’hood has experienced more resident turnover than some others in Ottawa.

With easy access to both the Tunney’s Pasture and Bayview LRT stations, residents of Hintonburg are almost twice as likely as the average Ottawan to walk, cycle, or take transit to work.
